Finding an effective way that efficiently reduces harmful bacteria, mould and fungi in the healthcare, medical and other industries can be a challenge.
Our cables and injection mouldings are known to be anti-bacterial and anti-mould continuously for the lifetime of the product, protecting against infection causing bacteria such as E.Coli, MRSA and Salmonella. We can do this because we can incorporate additives into the moulding / extrusion processes which are able to reduce infectious germs and restrict germ cells from multiplying. For a number of years now we have been incorporating SteriTouch® masterbatch into our cable assemblies where our customers require anti-microbial properties. SteriTouch® products are used on the basis of incorporating ionic silver, widely known for its non-toxic, anti-microbial properties. So by using anti-microbial additives in your bespoke parts, you will be able to reduce and eliminate infectious bacteria successfully.
We support our customers by developing concepts and designs through our expert team of engineers before transferring to our production facilities for prototyping, pre-production and final assembly. Quality and compliance are two key expectations within the medical device industry, and this is why we have incorporated ISO13485 into our quality management system allowing us to thrive on these requirements.
If you would like to discuss your medical device requirements in more detail, then please do not hesitate to continue to our website or come and visit us at one of the world’s largest medical exhibitions, Compamed in Dusseldorf, Germany on the 16th to 19th November 2015 where you will find us in Hall 8b, Stand E38.
